ECG Mobile App: How to Download ECG Power on Android & iPhone
The ECG Power, which is the mobile app for ECG was launched by the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. The launching of the new ECG Mobile App was done on the 18th of February 2020. Though the ECG Web Portal allows customers to check their bills, apply for new services for their homes, and make complaints.
Prepaid customers were unable to buy ECG credits online. Although there was an already existing ECG App, it didn’t have certain features. Therefore, the need for a new and improved app and system. This app has new features and other added benefits.
The new app, which is available on both iOS and Android, helps one check their meter balance, how much credit they have used within a period and other beneficial services.
Downloading the ECG Mobile App
If you are looking to download the new ECG Mobile that is; ECG Power, follow the steps below.

- Find the Google play store app on your phone
- Open the app
- Then on the search bar type in ECG Power
- Tap on the icon of the app then download and install.

- Similarly, find the App Store app on your phone
- Open the app
- Then on the search bar type in ECG Power
- Tap on the icon of the app then download and install.
How to use ECG Mobile App(ECG Power)
Once you have downloaded the app with the aid of the guide above you would want to use it. Since you might not have any idea how to go about it, we will guide you through that as well.
- Install the ECG App from the Google Play Store or the App Store with the aid of the above steps
- Create a new account on the ECG App
- Add your meter
- You can then proceed to add a second meter (if you have more than one)
- Choose the Top-up module to top up your balance
- Choose the Pay Bills Module to pay bills for your post-paid meter
- Confirm the payment through Mobile Money
