How To Request For MTN Mobile Money Statement
MTN Mobile Money is one of the leading fintech industries in Ghana. When it comes to electronic cash in Ghana, MTN mobile money has the largest user and transactional base.
With the government trying to digitize the entire economy, it is important to know the full task of electronic payment like Mobile Money.
Every good payment platform gives you the ability to track your transactions by means of a statement. The MTN mobile money platform gives its subscribers this functionality on their USSD and mobile app platforms.
TYPES OF STATEMENTS FROM YOUR MTN MOBILE MONEY ACCOUNT
MTN provides you with two forms of the statement from your mobile money account. They are the mini MTN momo statement and full MTN Momo statement.
A full statement covers a duration of up to two years of mobile money transactions whereas the mini statement covers one week of mobile money transactions.
HOW TO REQUEST FOR YOUR MTN MOBILE MONEY STATEMENT USING THE USSD
Follow the steps below if you want to request a full statement of your mobile money transactions.
- Dial *170#
- Select ‘6’ to enter your wallet
- Select ‘4’ for statements
- Then, select 1 for a full statement of account covering a certain duration.
- If you want the full statement, select ‘2’ in the next step to ‘request statement
- Type your email address
- Verify your email address
- Input the date from which you want to see your statement start. For instance, if you want your statement to cover from 18 October 2021, you Type the start date in the format 18 10 2021, day, month, and year separated by space.
- Enter the end date for your statement of account.
- You will receive a prompt asking you to make a payment of 50 pesewas. Enter your Momo pin and authorize the transaction.
- The statement of account will be sent to the email you provided earlier.
If you wish for a mini statement of transactions made within the week:
- Dial *170#
- Select option ‘6’ to enter your wallet
• Afterward, select option ‘4’ for your statement. - Select Option 2 for mini-statement.
- Enter your password to see your statement.
- On the next screen, you’ll see your mini-statement.
HOW TO REQUEST A STATEMENT USING THE MTN MOBILE APP
- Open your MTN Mobile Application. Select ‘Momo Services
- Enter your PIN Code.
- Select ‘My Wallet
• Click on ‘Mini statement’ to access your mini-statement
• or click on Statement request to have full access to your statement covering a period of your choice.
• Input your PIN again to verify and have access to your statement of account.
