How To Buy Airtime With AirtelTigo Cash, MTN Mobile Money, Or Vodafone Cash

On a daily basis, most phone users recharge their airtime or data bundle in order to connect with family and friends. The emergence of some messaging platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram has increased the data consumption of many phone users.

There have been instances where you find yourself at a place you cannot purchase airtime. Due to this, most network service providers have found ways to meet the demands of their customers.

The introduction of mobile money services has made it easier for mobile users to buy airtime at any time of the day. Each of these networks has different ways by which its customers can recharge their airtime.

HOW TO RECHARGE YOUR AIRTIME USING MTN MOBILE MONEY

Follow these simple steps to recharge your account using MTN mobile money.

• First, ensure there are enough funds in your account
• Dial *170#
• Go to the Mobile Money menu and choose option 3 Airtime & Bundle
• From the sub-menu select option 1 (Airtime-100% bonus self).
• Choose the beneficiary of the airtime. It could be yourself or others.
• Input the amount of airtime you want to buy.
• Confirm your details by inputting your mobile money PIN. You will receive a message confirming the success of your purchase

HOW TO RECHARGE YOUR AIRTIME USING AIRTELTIGO CASH

• Dial *110#
• A popup menu will appear taking you to the AirtelTigo Cash menu.
• Once the menu appears select option 2
• You have the option to choose if you are buying airtime or a data bundle.
• If it is airtime you want to but, select option 1
• After choosing the option you want, select 1 if you want to buy for yourself, or choose the option that best suits you.
• Confirm your details and enter your mobile money PIN to complete the transaction
• When the transaction is successful, you will be sent a message from AirtelTigo.

HOW TO TOP UP YOUR AIRTIME USING VODAFONE CASH

• Dial *110# to go to the Vodafone cash menu.
• From the sub menu, select option 3 to see the options available
• From the submenu, choose option 3 -buy airtime or data
• You will see three submenus, choose option 1: “buy airtime
• Then select option 1 – my phone. If you are buying for yourself otherwise select the other options
• Now input the amount you want to purchase.
• Confirm details and enter your Vodacash PIN
