Study In USA: USEFP Hubert H. Humphrey USA Fellowship Program 2024

The USEFP Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program 2024 is a prestigious opportunity for successful mid-career professionals worldwide. This program offers an extensive year of academic education and professional growth in the United States without granting a degree. The scholarship includes tuition, flights, textbooks, a living allowance, and health insurance.

Regarding the Fellowship:

The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program invites experienced mid-career professionals with proven leadership abilities to the United States for a year of graduate-level academic courses and professional development activities without earning a degree.

The curriculum spans ten months and includes academic study together with an internship at a suitable professional organization. The program offers future leaders and policymakers exposure to U.S. society, culture, and professional sectors, fostering enduring and beneficial connections between Americans and their international professional counterparts.

A competitive process resulted in the selection of 18 schools to host fellows grouped by thematic and subject affinity. Universities are selected based on their institutional resources and the quality of support and guidance provided for academic and administrative needs.

Faculty advisers help fellows develop well-rounded academic and professional plans. All participants are required to return to Pakistan promptly upon finishing their training.

Regarding USEFP Hubert H. Humphrey, USA Fellowship Program

The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan was founded in 1950 through a collaboration between the governments of Pakistan and the United States.

USEFP is overseen by a binational commission consisting of an equal number of Pakistani and American members, with the chair position rotating annually between a Pakistani and an American.

USEFP is one of 49 Fulbright Commissions worldwide. Since 1951, the USEFP has promoted mutual understanding between the people of Pakistan and the United States through educational and cultural exchange. Over 8,800 Pakistanis and approximately 945 Americans have taken part in exchange programs run by USEFP.

Although the governments of Pakistan and the United States provide support and guidance to the Foundation, the two are unaffiliated. The Foundation is in charge of numerous initiatives that promote student and scholar exchanges between Pakistani and American universities as well as between American and Pakistani institutions. All USEFP projects aim to make it easier for Pakistanis and Americans to learn about the United States and Pakistan and its people, respectively.
