Eligibility Criteria
You can’t get the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals if you:
- are currently enrolled in or have a degree from a Swedish university or university college;
- have lived in Sweden for at least two years before the scholarship period (beginning August 2024); or
- Have been awarded a Swedish Institute scholarship before. People who have been to the SI Summer Academy for Young Professionals before.
- If a student has taken SI summer courses in Swedish or attended the Swedish Institute Summer University (SISU), they can still apply.
- They must also be a citizen of Sweden or an EU/EEA country, have a Swedish permanent residence permit, or a temporary work- and residence permit based on work or family ties with a citizen of Sweden, EU/EEA country, or have dual citizenship in countries that are not on the DAC list of ODA recipients 2022–2023.
