Unilever is now looking for an Assistant Internal Audit Manager at Twifo Oil Palm Plantation.
Twifo Oil Palm Plantation Limited is an agricultural processing enterprise based in Twifo Ntafrewaso, Twifo Atti Morkwa District, in Ghana’s Central Region. Unilever Ghana has a service arrangement with TOPP to operate the plantation.
JOB PURPOSE
The role’s aim is to conduct an internal audit of the company’s systems and procedures and to recommend best practices for improving controls. Furthermore, this function ensures that company and group accounting policies and processes are understood and followed, as well as reporting any violations that occur.
What will your main responsibilities be?
- Creates a control matrix/flow chart for the audit activity.
- Prepares audit scope and program for various processes/functions/locations.
- Conducts audit tests in accordance with the audit program.
- Compiles audit reports.
- Conducts spot checks on various activities.
- Follow up on exceptions/actions identified in previous audits.
- Shares responsibility with other audit team members for meeting internal audit targets.
Experiences and Qualifications
- It is desirable to have 3–5 years of financial or auditing expertise.
- Qualified accountant or similar is preferred.
- Accounting graduates take various levels of professional accounting exams.
