POSITION: Shopper Marketing Manager

Shopper Marketing strategy for categories, channels, customers, and regions are created and executed. This job will collaborate with THE Marketing Team to increase shopper adoption.

Your main responsibilities

Create and Implement Shopper Marketing Plans

  • Invites strong shopper input early in the funnel.
  • Speaks for shoppers in market deployment choices.
  • Develop best-in-class Shopper Facing Strategies – Adapting category marketing plans to incorporate trade event, channel/shopper, job-to-do, budget, promo guide, and shopper activation plans.
  • Provide shopper perspective to brand creation and drive implementation of shopper-based plans based on consumer and shopper insights with brand goals.
  • Responsible for delivering shopper perks, including promotions, price, selection availability, and on- and off-shelf merch

Goals of Driver Shopper

  • Drive shopper goals to boost category growth.
  • All initiatives, activations, and innovations that impact customer behaviour, increase sales, and develop brand equity must include Shopper Mission and Shopper/Channel knowledge.
  • Create and track a major account team launch and relaunch trading plan.
  • Responsible for effective in-store shopper activation and communication, implementing findings.
  • Provide measurable and qualified shopper marketing opportunities to help the firm make decisions and trade-offs.
  • Optimize omnichannel launch plans for shoppers.

Manage CATMAN and market deployment

  • Drive input into category and channel blueprints based on channel strategies to enable growth across channels, brands, and categories.
  • Project manage CATMAN and range & shelf reviews with key customers.
  • Monitor and capitalize on CATMAN projects with MT, Brands, and Field Sales.
  • Set CATMAN project goals and track results.
  • Assist CSP with new product selection recommendations.
  • Maintain current Unilever shelf arrangement for all store types and sizes in the channel/customer.
  • Coordinate corporate events with CSP, MT, and Field Sales.
  • Experimenting and increasing value.
  • Support and maintain the perfect retail program with sales and CSP.
  • Gain trade and shopper insight for important customers/channels.
  • Conduct analysis using data sources like Nielsen scan track and scanning databases for large promotions.
  • Propose promo efficiency improvements.
  • Assist CSP and CD Excellence teams in analysing category trends, performance, competitors, and shopper behaviour.
  • Track local consumer research with CMI and share actionable learnings with CSP team (initiate research if necessary).
  • Conduct a thorough, transparent post-evaluation review of specific activations that influence business success based on KPIs.

Experiences & Qualifications Required

Experience & Skills

Five years of marketing, direct impact to shoppers, sales, e-commerce, big data, or psychology experience is preferred.
