1. Computer and Creative Arts Teacher (Basic School)

Responsibilities:

• Teach computing and creative art in upper primary.
• Create exciting lesson plans that accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Encourage creativity and critical thinking via hands-on activities and projects.
• Create a friendly and inclusive learning environment in which all students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
• Work with others to include technological and artistic expression into cross-curricular lessons.

2. Classroom Teacher (Basic 1)

Responsibilities:

• As a classroom teacher for Basic 1 pupils, provide instruction in all subjects except French, computing, and Ghanaian language.
• Create exciting lesson plans that accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Create a pleasant school atmosphere that encourages academic achievement, character development, and social-emotional well-being.
• Maintain regular contact with the department head to provide information on student progress and handle any concerns.

3. Nursery and kindergarten teachers.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and carry out developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for nursery and kindergarten children.
• Encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth through play-based learning activities.
• Establish a supportive and dynamic classroom climate that promotes exploration, curiosity, and creativity.
• Create exciting lesson plans that accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

4. Teaching Assistant (Preschool).

Responsibilities:

• Help the lead teacher implement daily activities and routines for preschool-aged students.
• Offer students specialized support to help them achieve academically and socially.
• Keep children safe during playing, meals, and outdoor activities.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in basic education, early childhood, or a related field.
• Familiar with the New Standardized Curriculum.
• Previous teaching experience
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Passion for working with young children.
