The job of Principal or Head of School is open at a Smart School near Kwabenya, Accra.
Objective of Position
- Keeping good academic standards in the school
- Providing professional and managerial support to the board
- Having enough knowledge of the IGCSE and GES Basic School Curriculum
Duties and Obligations
- Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of teaching and learning in the academic department of the school.
- Vet and evaluate teachers’ work at the end of each week/term, and do periodic assessments of all staff.
- Put in place strategies to reach high academic standards/targets that reflect the vision and image of the organization.
- Responsible for the review of teaching methods, aids, skills, etc. to reach set goals.
- They are in charge of running the school as a whole.
Needed Qualifications and Experience
- Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in education.
- Must have at least 10 years of experience in the education field, ideally as a manager.
- Must have strong digital literacy (ICT) skills. • A postgraduate degree would be a plus.
- Applicants should be tech-savvy and have advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, or Word.
Location: Accra.
