POSITION: Inland Execution Agent
We are looking for a highly motivated and performance-driven Inland Execution Agent to join our team at A.P. Maersk Ghana, Tema.
As a major actor in our operations, you will be in charge of delivering high-quality, cost-effective customer outcomes across all transported by Maersk (TbM) activities. You will work with numerous stakeholders to accomplish the required customer, cost, and standardization results while adhering to internal and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Job allocation is based on vendor capacity and responsiveness, in collaboration with the vendor management team.
- Cost-conscious scheduling to eliminate unnecessary costs in the delivery of TbM product offerings.
- Collaborate with CX agents to ensure that customers receive appropriate visibility during execution.
- Maintaining on-time delivery as per client requirements (internal and external customers).
- Optimize experiences by questioning corporate rules and limits wherever possible.
- Ensure that vendor invoicing and payments are correct and timely in compliance with contractual agreements.
- Follow established mechanisms and processes for rapid issue resolution to protect client outcomes in line with CX.
- Adopt an entrepreneurial mindset to quickly turn impacts into commercial potential.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve common goals.
- Client Centricity: Make client requirements and expectations a top priority in all aspects of your job.
- Maintains data integrity by accurately inputting and updating any relevant systems, such as TrakIT.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities are required to effectively express insights and recommendations.
Who are we looking for?
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the logistics or transportation sectors.
- A high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Understanding of the local marketplace and regulatory needs.
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- A strong team player with a customer-focused approach.
- Understanding route planning, import/export procedures, and distribution operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and intrigued by new tools and technology.
