POSITION: Ecommerce Supplier Acquisition and Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities
Supplier Acquisition
- Identify and study suitable suppliers who meet the ecommerce platform’s product offerings, quality criteria, and price strategies.
- To form partnerships, contact potential suppliers via email, phone, and networking events.
- To guarantee that the ecommerce platform receives advantageous terms, negotiate agreement conditions such as pricing, product specifications, delivery timetables, and payment terms.
- Conduct due diligence on possible suppliers, including evaluating their dependability, production capability, and adherence to industry regulations.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Maintain and maintain ties with existing suppliers to ensure long-term collaboration and satisfaction.
- Address any issues or concerns presented by suppliers in a timely and effective manner to maintain a positive working relationship.
- Collaborate with suppliers to optimize product offers, increase quality, and launch new goods or variations in response to market trends and customer feedback.
Marketing & Sales
- Create and implement marketing strategies to promote products supplied from suppliers through the ecommerce platform.
- Create interesting content for social media networks to boost brand visibility and traffic to the platform.
- Analyse market trends, competitor behaviour, and customer feedback to find chances for product marketing and sales growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and conversion through targeted marketing.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier acquisition, product sales, and marketing initiatives.
- Create reports and dashboards to evaluate progress toward targets, discover areas for growth, and make data-driven decisions to maximize performance.
- Provide the management team with regular updates and insights about supplier relationships, market trends, and sales performance to help them make strategic decisions.
Required Skill or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proven expertise with supplier acquisition and management, ideally in an ecommerce or retail setting.
- Excellent negotiating and communication skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and sustain relationships.
- A creative thinker with a drive for achieving achievements.
