Qatar Charity’s Ghana Office welcomes candidates to apply for the following positions: Currently serving as an orphanage officer

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
QC in Ghana is carrying out a variety of social welfare and educational projects, including an orphanage with a school, cultural centre, playground, residences, and so on, which will house target beneficiaries until they graduate.
Based on the projects described above, the Orphanage Officer (OO) will be in charge of overseeing all operations, including facility administration.
S/He would coordinate such projects with the utmost professionalism, ensuring compliance with Qatar Charity rules and laws, as well as established international standards.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Education: Full responsibility for children’s education, including school registration, homework, exam preparation, etc.
- Health: Responsible for children’s health care, including emergency setup, referral system activation, insurance, and check-ups.
- Nutrition: Fully accountable for the children’s balanced diets and nutrient-dense feeding routines.
- Well-being management entails being entirely accountable for extracurricular activities both within and outside the orphanage grounds in order to promote the children’s general well-being and psychology.
- Coordinate all available resources to ensure efficient program delivery.
- In consultation with the program manager, lead staff development training sessions and workshops.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that reflect project accomplishments, difficulties, and plans.
- Other responsibilities assigned by the program manager or Country Director.
Required Skill or Experience
Skills:
- Experience working with children.
- Ability to lead and manage others.
- Arabic language is required for this position (to maintain coordination with the QCHQ system).
- Capabilities are both flexible and multi-tax.
- Proactive and foresighted in identifying latent potentials in children.
- Calm, yet focused on childcare details.
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in social work, education, management, or another comparable discipline.
- Minimum of “7 years” experience in teaching, child care management in a non-profit organization, or a related sector.
- A thorough understanding of Orphan Care efforts and/or Hifz Quran educational systems.
