The Organisation
Plan International is a non-profit development and humanitarian organization that advocates for children’s rights and gender equality.

Moreover, We advocate for children’s rights from infancy through maturity. We also help children prepare for and respond to emergencies and hardship. Also, We use our reach, expertise, and knowledge to create improvements in practice and policy at the local, national, and global levels.
We have been forming strong partnerships with children for over 85 years and are currently present in over 80 countries.
The Opportunity
This position will contribute to WACA’s growing and complex portfolios in West and Central Africa by driving operational excellence. It will ensure continuous improvement across all key management standards by providing strategic performance analysis, assisting functional people, process and system improvement, risk management, and driving new solutions/initiatives for effective service delivery, all while contributing to Plan International’s global strategy in the West and Central Africa Region.
The Director of Operations will contribute critical analysis, insights, and implementation leadership to the organization in order to drive strategy, growth, and operational efficiency. S/he will retain an organizational perspective and assist WACA regional leadership in making decisions.
S/he will collaborate with other regional senior leaders to strengthen Plan International’s program performance by providing key insights on leadership to enable the organization to determine progress toward our strategic ambition, ranging from strategic results frameworks to day-to-day operational excellence in fulfillment of the WACA Region’s overall mandate.
