Our client is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable photo retoucher to join their team. This position focuses on retouching photographs for both print and digital media across their brand portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a solid portfolio and the ability to work independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-end retouching, colour matching, and compositing on many assigned products or lifestyle photographs for print, web, and social media.
- Collaborate with several department team members to complete picture edit requests while adhering to creative direction to ensure high-quality photos.
- Manage many projects efficiently while maintaining overall image quality, keep project management tools up to date, and respond rapidly to feedback and suggestions to ensure projects stay on track.
- Maintain a high level of asset organization for photos across all of our brands, including organizing, resizing, and renaming image files, adhering to file name conventions, archiving images, and responding to retrieval requests from team members.
Qualifications:
- Have 3–5 years of professional retouching experience.
- Expertly understands Capture One photo editing software and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), including layers, masks, paths, colour correction, cloning/healing, dodging/burning, actions, and non-destructive workflow.
- You must have colour grading and skin retouching experience.
- A portfolio of current work that displays photo retouching abilities, particularly including eCommerce and lifestyle photography samples.
- Possess a keen visual sense and great attention to detail.
- Capable of following creative direction to ensure assets align with picture requirements.
- Strong organizational skills, allowing you to manage several projects swiftly without losing overall image quality.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- In English, you should have great communication, time management, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience dealing with e-commerce enterprises.
- Experience with productivity apps like Asana, Google Suite, and Slack.
