Our company is looking for a Remote English Teacher that enjoys teaching and has a talent for engaging students. This is an online position in which you will teach English to speakers of other languages from around the Asian continent.
Job Summary
- As a Remote English teacher, you will be responsible for creating lesson plans, delivering learning materials, and tracking your students’ performance.
- Your main talent will be communicating teachings despite the language barrier.
- If you enjoy teaching and want to interact with non-English speakers, we’d love to meet you. Teaching experience is beneficial, but all fluent English speakers are invited to apply because training and certification are available.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and delivering lessons to help students improve their reading, writing, and communication abilities.
- Create lesson plans and materials for each class session.
- Monitor student progress and change lessons to improve results.
- Fostering a learning environment
- Evaluating students’ progress, identifying areas for improvement, and creating personalized learning plans to achieve academic objectives.
- Maintaining your equipment in good operating order at all times.
Requirements
- English fluency
- Laptop with reliable internet connection
- High school diploma required (degree preferred)
- Quiet teaching environment
- High-quality webcam
- Teaching experience preferred
- Friendly and engaging
Please be advised that certification requires a financial investment.
Salary: Fluent English speakers will receive a minimum of $5-7 per hour. A typical work week is 20 to 30 hours. A monthly pay might range from $400 to $560.
Location: Accra.
