MSI Ghana works with the Ministry of Health and Child Care to provide high-quality, low-cost general health and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services in all parts of Ghana.

Job Description

MSI Ghana is looking for a person who is passionate, well-organized, client-focused, and full of energy, and who has the following qualifications and experience. MSI Ghana wants to meet the needs of people who aren’t getting enough care and make it easier for them to use Family Planning and other services for sexual and reproductive health. Length of Contract: Permanent

The Digital Content and Community Officer’s job is to make sure the organization has a consistent brand identity and a strong online presence. In this job, you’ll be in charge of making sure marketing plans get customers interested and make sure they have a good opinion of the company and its products or services.

He or she uses information like metrics and statistics about the demographics and preferences of the target customers to make multimedia content that raises awareness of the brand. The Digital Content and Community Officer will also answer calls from current and potential clients about MSI Ghana’s reproductive health services and give them information and advice. They will also direct callers to other MSI Ghana service delivery points.

Key Responsibilities

Provision of counseling, support, and information to MSI Clients and employees (40%)

  • Clients who contact MSI Ghana through our Contact Center will get basic advice and information about reproductive health and other related issues.
  • The person in charge of answering incoming requests quickly and according to MSI Ghana’s rules.
  • Callers can be sent to MSG centers and Bluestar Healthcare Networks, and appointments can be made as needed.
  • Sell telemedicine services to callers who are eligible for them and keep track of all pre-consultations done through telemedicine.
  • Prepare and send out all packages for telemedicine clients. Call to make sure the packages are delivered successfully.
  • Help all telemedicine medical emergencies go to the next level
  • Help the line manager take stock of Telemedicine supplies every month.

Digital Community Management (30%)

  • Creating and managing online communities like social media groups, forums, Google
  • Business Apps, and other places where members can interact with each other and with the brand.
  • Engaging with the online community by responding to comments and questions and actively looking for feedback on how to improve the brand’s products and services.
  • Monitoring community metrics like engagement, reach, and sentiment, and using data to inform strategies and tactics to maximize community engagement and growth.
  • Organize and take part in events to build a community and bring more attention to your brand.
  • Keeping up with industry trends and best practices and learning and changing strategies all the time to make sure the brand stays competitive in the digital space.

Digital Content creation and curation (30%)

  • Creating a comprehensive content strategy for multiple platforms, including paid, owned, and earned media.
  • Working with the Brand Creative Assistant and the social media committee to plan, make, and share content.
  • Keep a content marketing calendar that plans out all the details of creating and distributing content throughout the year.
  • Making presentations to let other team members know about new marketing strategies
  • Putting together marketing plans for digital content
  • Doing research on topics related to the company’s products or services in order to make content for social media and other digital communities.
  • Performing regular content audits to make sure content is correct, optimized, up-to-date, and relevant to the target audience

Skills or Experience Needed

To do well in this job, you need to:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Marketing
  • We would like to see other professional qualifications, preferably in digital media.
  • At least four years of relevant work experience after graduation in digital media and a call center.
  • At least two years of experience working on digital content
  • Experienced Copywriters and people who make content
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Meta Suite, Canva, and Google Docs.
  • Both written and spoken communication skills are very good. You must be able to speak and write English fluently.
  • Ability to turn data and research into insights that can be used to make strategic marketing decisions.
  • Very good at using the most important financial and marketing metrics and very business-minded.
  • Highly developed skills in planning and organization, and the ability to work on multiple projects at once and still get them done on time and well.
  • Ability to build relationships across teams, with evidence of highly sensitive cross-cultural skills and good influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Action-oriented and focused on getting things done, and able to stay on track and do well when working with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to teach, mentor, and help others improve their skills.
  • Ability to turn complicated information into a format and language that a wide range of people can understand and present it in a way that is compelling and interesting.
