POSITION: Architect/ Architectural Technologist
Job Description
An exciting new opportunity is currently available at Prebuild Development Ltd for an enthusiastic, creative, and hard-working Architect or Architectural Technologist, with the possibility of a permanent full-time post after an initial fixed term. You will work with and report to the Design Manager. You will be responsible for verifying that technical drawings meet the agreed-upon specifications and providing technical direction to the construction team.
Applicant should dwell within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
Responsibilities
- Meeting with clients to determine their needs and requirements.
- Managing design projects from inception to completion.
- Create and present project proposals.
- Changing designs and plans to accommodate the client’s requirements.
- Creating drawings, plans, specifications, and building documentation.
- Conducting research and creating reports on feasibility and environmental impact.
- Conforming to safety requirements and local planning regulations.
- Setting and adhering to budgets and timeframes.
- Managing project teams and working alongside other construction professionals.
Required Skill or Experience
- The selected candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional Autocad and Revit skills, as well as a portfolio of high-quality work across projects and, ideally, sectors.
- This profession requires strong presentation skills using a variety of softwares.
- You’ll have suitable architectural qualifications.
- Knowledge of building and buildability is essential, however some further training will be provided.
