Role Title: Consultant
THE OPPORTUNITY
This post reports to the Director Talent and is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and recruiting for leadership roles for the Foundation’s current and future business needs.
CONTRIBUTION OPTIONS
- For leadership recruiting, collaborate with and support the Director Talent and Head Talent Acquisition.
- Assist with executive-level sourcing, candidate relationship management, and onboarding as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Determine the use of and connection with external Executive Search suppliers to deliver on sourcing and recruitment activity and successfully source, pipeline, and fill allocated opportunities. Manage interfaces to ensure that the Foundation receives value.
- Conduct proactive market research and mapping to generate talent insights.
- Create precise recruitment plans and see them through to completion, changing as appropriate. Maintain rigorous tracking in order to report and improve continuously.
- Make proactive pipeline development plans for future talent requirements and vacancies.
WHO ARE YOU?
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a similar discipline is required.
- Professional qualification that is relevant.
- Extensive worldwide recruitment experience, with a particular emphasis on Africa and global talent sourcing.
- Experience coordinating end-to-end executive recruitment for roles ranging in complexity
- Experience in a worldwide role in a best-practice environment, knowledge of industry trends, and an understanding of the growing competitive talent landscape.
- Experience actively building applicant pipelines using direct sourcing tactics such as referral creation, online social networking, resume database mining, and search engine sourcing.
- Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking systems, resume databases, and sourcing tools.
- Strategic sourcing abilities, including data mining and sourcing for passive candidates, are especially important for increasingly specialized posts up to the CEO level.
- Proven expertise in executive recruiting or a similar industry with a thorough understanding of the executive search process
- Extensive experience with enterprise-wide recruitment, pipeline lining, and onboarding initiatives.
- Commitment to achieving high-quality results and upholding the foundation’s reputation.
- Excellent communication, negotiating, and relationship-management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are required.
- Ability to exercise diplomacy, tact, and discretion.
