POSITION: Sales Agronomist (TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE)

Position Description

• The officer will coordinate on-farm product and technology demonstrations with distributors prior to sales in order to ensure that farmers understand the benefits of using them and can do it independently with little help.
• Ensure that these items and technology are made available to farmers through these channels at the appropriate time, in the appropriate amount, and at the appropriate price by collaborating with distributors, stockists, and dealers.

Required knowledge or expertise

• Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, Agricultural Economics, and/or Extension degrees from one of Ghana’s universities must be at least Second Class Upper.
• We are looking for someone that is under 25 years old.
• Our ideal applicant should feel at ease residing and traveling throughout Ghana.
• Fluency in multiple Ghanaian languages and at least a year’s relevant experience in a comparable job are advantages.
