ROLE: Lecturers / Research Fellows 

Main Function

• The general responsibilities of the Fellow would include teaching, doing basic and applied research, supervising student dissertations, academic assessment, and academic administration.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• The ideal applicant should have a PhD in political science and international qualifications.
• At least 5 years of relevant job experience with a proven track record of teaching, research, and publication
• A minimum of 5 peer-reviewed publications, computer literacy, and demonstrable mastery of research-related software packages are required.

Important Tasks

The following are the primary responsibilities:

• Teach at least three courses at the College
• Design and develop the college’s core training and academic courses
• Demonstrate competence in the area of expertise in the classroom and public presentations, including seminars and conferences
• Supervise students in class daily and mark students’ assignments, term papers, and dissertations
• Create proposals for large-scale research projects that contribute to the production of new information, theories, or concepts, as well as high-quality research outputs with policy implications.
