Summary of the Job

The person in charge of developing and implementing the bank’s digital marketing and insights strategy. The main goal of this strategy is to help the bank’s digital marketing operations go from “emerging” to “matured.”

This includes managing the bank’s digital and online presence across all channels, such as its website, social media, and other digital service platforms, internet banking, and apps, as well as working with the in-country Enablement and Technology team and the Centre Digital operation team and being an advocate for digital best practices.

Also, to use data analytics and insights for strategic digital marketing planning, making sure of alignment with Centre Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives and country strategy to increase overall brand awareness, which led to consideration and affinity.

These should make the brand more well-known and increase brand loyalty both inside and outside the company.

Job Description

Putting the digital marketing strategy into action and building the brand.

  • Work with the bank’s digital agency and other vendor partners to create digital strategies and plans. This is done by making sure that all country and Centre Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives are in sync.
  • Strategy, growth, and maintenance of the bank’s digital and social media platforms, with a focus on engagement, customer service, lead generation, community growth, and customer loyalty.
  • Use digital marketing to come up with new and creative ways to grow your business.
  • Keep up with and evaluate new digital and programmatic technology trends, as well as provide thought leadership and a different point of view on how they could be used in our digital strategy.
  • On a tactical level, look at the best ways to go and come to conclusions based on both data and marketing from customer campaigns.
  • Optimize the bank’s online presence by using owned channels and platforms that meet customer needs and bring in leads.
  • Review all social media platforms on a regular basis and suggest ways to grow the community.
  • Find out what the Bank needs for digital marketing and make a well-informed budget for it.
  • Do active social listening and online monitoring with the right tools to find industry trends, opportunities, and possible crises, and then tell the bank what to do about them.

Integration of digital marketing and management of customer insights 

  • Work with the digital marketing team at the Agency to deliver and carry out the agreed-upon deliverables.
  • Work with our digital marketing agencies to make sure our demand-side platforms have effective digital marketing campaigns.
  • Optimize the bank’s online presence by using owned channels and platforms that meet customer needs and bring in leads.
  • DOptimize for both brand keywords and non-brand keywords to make sure the bank’s websites rank high in search engine results.
  • Look at and analyze website traffic, keep track of the conversion of online leads, and make reports on website assets.
  • Make sure that digital marketing campaigns move from targeting Third parties to targeting First parties.
  • Do any other tasks that the Functional Head of the Department may give you from time to time.

Managing a digital campaign

  • Make sure to work with other departments and creative agencies outside of your company to make a quarterly content calendar.
  • Design, implement, and manage online marketing campaigns in line with planned activities to get online communities interested, involved, and converting.
  • Develop creative story ideas or copies for different online channels that fit with the marketing communication strategy of the company.
  • Plan and run all of your digital marketing campaigns, such as those for SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email, social media, and display advertising.

Taking care of a community

  • Make sure your audience is interested in being proactive and quick to answer questions and concerns across all digital channels to improve response rate and time.
  • Make sure that customer feedback gets to the right people so that the Customer Experience Team (CX Team) can take the right steps.
  • To make sure that the audience’s responses on all of our social media sites are relevant to the questions asked and not automated.

Making content

  • Make sure the content you make and how you use the platform are in sync on the Bank’s social media platforms to keep people interested and get them to convert.
  • Work with teams inside your company to make landing pages and improve the user experience.
  • Develop creative story ideas or copies for different online channels that fit with the marketing communication strategy of the company.

Person-specific: Education, skills, knowledge, and experience

  • The person who gets the job must have a BSc or MSc in marketing, digital marketing, or a similar field.
  • A master’s degree or professional certification in a related field is also a plus.
  • 3–6 years of proven work experience in digital marketing and campaign management.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Web optimization, wireframe design, SEO, and SEM social media channels.
  • Data-driven and knows how important KPIs, measuring, tracking, and reporting are.
  • Knowledge of how to make landing pages and user funnels work better.
  • Knowing about digital marketing and having experience in the banking field is a plus.
  • It would be a plus to have skills in creative writing, graphic design, and photography.
  • Highly creative and experienced in finding target audiences and making digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
