The qualification you need to teach abroad depends on what and where you are going to teach. Every country around has a government office that licenses and regulates international schools.

Sometimes schools have different licenses so you will find variability between countries and schools. It may depend on the relationship the school has with the local government or the Ministry of Education. Some countries have very strict policies, others are flexible. TYPES OF TEACHING JOBS ABROAD

1 . Public School Teacher

Teaching at a public school often means that you will be required to speak the local language. This is because these schools may not be fully immersion-based. It is possible to find a job using your native language schools in a public setting.

2 . Private School Teacher

A private school may be your best choice if you have little or no knowledge of their local language. There are many different types of private school settings, that is the international school, a religious or faithbased school (often a volunteer position), or a military school.

3 . International School Teacher

Many international schools are looking for qualified, English speakers to teach from Pre-school through to High School. You may not need to have any knowledge of the local language in order to teach in that country.

Often, international schools will pay a stipend for living expenses. They may provide housing, airfare from your home country, paid vacation, insurance, and low-cost or free education for any dependents. This depends entirely on the school.
