British Columbia and Manitoba Invite Provincial Nominees

British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program

At least 88 invitations to apply for permanent residence (PR) through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program’s Skilled Worker, International Graduate (which includes Express Entry British Columbia (option) stream) were sent.

This stream is designed for foreign graduates with a valid job offer from a company in British Columbia and who have graduated within the last three years from a university or college in the province. Those with professional experience in the in-demand roles the province is looking for were invited. In particular, these in-demand careers comprised;

• Childcare professionals who needed a minimum score of 90 to be invited
• Construction professionals who needed a minimum score of 95 to be invited
• Healthcare Professionals who need a minimum score of 95
• Tech professionals who needed a minimum score of 116
• Veterinary Care Professionals who needed a minimum score of 80

This is an improved provincial nomination stream, as evidenced by the inclusion of the EEBC option. Those who are in the Express Entry pool may be requested to apply for permanent residence in a province through enhanced streams since they are in line with the Express Entry management system.

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program

More than 350 individuals received Invitations to Apply from the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program via the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, which is an occupation-specific selection stream that is a component of the work experience pathway in Manitoba.

276 people who work in the province’s in-demand professions received invitations to apply from the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. in particular, those employed in the following national occupation classifications:

• NOC 33102: Nurse Aides, Orderlies, and Patient Service Associates
• 602: Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers
• 731: Workers in General Construction Trades

Canada uses the NOC system as a common technique to classify vocations inside the nation.
