How to Download Podcasts
A podcast is a program produced on a regular basis and delivered over the Internet in a compressed digital format. It is designed for playback on computers or portable devices, such as a mobile phones. Getting access to these programs can be a little stressful. This article will help release your stress and help you get access to these programs.
STEPS
- On your Android phone or tablet, open Google Podcasts.
- Tap a podcast and then an episode and then Download
- At the bottom, tap home.
- At the top right, tap o your profile picture or initials and then Podcast settings.
- Under “Downloads,” tap Auto downloading.
- Turn on Auto-download new episodes.
- Select only when on WiFi to download episodes in your queue.
- Under “Your subscriptions,” turn on the podcasts you want to auto-download.
These podcasts last:
- 24 hours after you finish them.
- 30 days after you download them.
To change these settings:
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Podcasts app Google podcasts.
- At the bottom, tap home.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Podcast settings.
- For completed episodes, tap Remove completed episodes and choose a time period.
- For unfinished episodes, tap Remove unfinished episodes and choose a time period.
