The Chulalongkorn Business School BBA Scholarships 2024 in Thailand are accepting international student applications. This scholarship program offers full funding for selected candidates. The scholarship covers bachelor-level programs in the discipline of business administration offered at Chulalongkorn University.

Scholarship Program Details

The initiative aims to attract international students to promote the internationalization of our learning environment. Every overseas student approved for the program for entrance in 2024 will receive full scholarships that cover tuition and special expenses for the first academic year.

However, a partial scholarship of THB 55,000 will only be provided during the second semester of the student’s first year if their GPA falls below 3.00. Starting in the upcoming academic year, all international students accepted into the program for admission in 2024 will receive partial scholarships. These scholarships will amount to THB 55,000 (approximately USD 1,774) for the Fall Semester, THB 55,000 (approximately USD 1,774) for the Spring Semester, and THB 31,500 (approximately USD 1,016) for the Summer Semester.

Benefits of the scholarship:

All overseas students enrolled in the program for the 2024 intake will receive full scholarships, which cover tuition and special expenses, for their first academic year.

In the second semester of the first year, if a student’s grade point average (GPA) is less than 3.00, they will be eligible for a partial scholarship of THB 55,000.

Academic Years Remaining: All overseas students accepted for the 2024 intake will get partial grants. The total cost for the Fall Semester is THB 55,000, for the Spring semester it is THB 55,000, and for the Summer semester, it is THB 31,500.

  • The amount of THB 55,000 is about equivalent to USD 1,774.
  • The amount of THB 31,500 is about equivalent to USD 1,016.

Eligible Nationalities:

This grant is available to students from any country. (excluding Thai nationals).

Required Documents for Scholarships in 2024:

  • A research proposal or study plan is mandatory, particularly for research-based programs. It is important to clearly outline your research interests, methodology, and goals.
  • Minimum of 2 recommendation letters: letters written by instructors or employers that offer valuable perspectives on your skills and personal qualities, highlighting your eligibility for the award.
  • Statement of Purpose (Required): Articulating your enthusiasm for the program and scholarship, or elaborating on your intents and future aspirations.
  • Statement of Purpose (Mandatory): Provide a detailed explanation of your professional trajectory, academic pursuits, and the reasoning behind your selection of a particular program or area of study.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume (optional): Emphasizing academic accomplishments, professional background, competencies, and involvement in extracurricular pursuits.
  • Academic Degrees and Transcripts (Required): Copies of degrees and transcripts to demonstrate academic achievement.
  • Passport (required): A photocopy is needed to confirm one’s identification and demonstrate their nationality.
  • Character Certificate (Optional): Typically, a letter from a former institution that confirms your conduct and moral principles.
  • Bank Statement (Optional): Certain scholarships may necessitate verification of financial standing.
  • Medical Fitness Certificate (Optional): Confirmation of both physical and mental suitability for the program.
  • Passport-sized photos are necessary and must be provided for various application procedures.
  • Submission of scanned copies of all documents is mandatory. This requirement is essential for facilitating online applications and also serves as a backup.

 Procedure for Applying:

The BBA International Program offers scholarships to international students that cover full tuition and special fees for the fall, spring, and summer semesters. These scholarships are available to students who meet the following qualifications:

  • Eligible applicants must either be international students who do not own a Thai passport or Thai students who hold dual passports.
  • All candidates who are admitted to the BBA International Program, as indicated in the Final Selection Announcements for the Academic Year 2024, will receive scholarships.
  • Chosen beneficiaries must verify and communicate their decision to the BBA Office and submit the required fee as outlined in the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy Announcement.
  • Chosen beneficiaries must meet all the criteria for admission, as specified in the Chulalongkorn University Admission Announcement for the Academic Year 2024.
  • The scholarship awardees must maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 each semester to continue receiving the scholarship the following semester.

This scholarship covers only the costs of tuition and special fees for the initial academic year.
