Study In Australia: University Of Adelaide Global Excellence International Scholarship 2024

International students can now apply for the University of Adelaide Global Excellence International Scholarship for the year 2024 in Australia. The scholarship financially supports the University of Adelaide’s undergraduate and graduate programs. By May 31, 2024, applications for the scholarship are due.

The University of Adelaide is pleased to introduce the Global Excellence Overseas Scholarship 2024, which provides a 50% discount on tuition costs for overseas undergraduate and postgraduate students who exhibit outstanding academic performance.

Applicants from Vietnam, Taiwan, Colombia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and students with recent Australian qualifications are eligible for this award. It provides significant financial aid for attending the University of Adelaide and is given to individuals who have shown exceptional academic achievement. Academic quality is the primary criterion for selection, and eligibility is automatically evaluated at the time of application for the program.

Educational Attainment:

Students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Adelaide are eligible to apply for the University of Adelaide Global Excellence International Scholarship 2024 in Australia.

Benefits of the scholarship:

The scholarship will provide a 50% reduction in international tuition rates for the 2024 intake.

Eligible Nationalities:

Those who are enrolling as international students and who are citizens of Vietnam, Taiwan, Colombia, Sri Lanka, or Bangladesh are eligible for this award. Students who just completed their degrees in Australia are also eligible.

Requirements for eligibility:

To be eligible for a 50% scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

Achieve the minimal academic score:

  • To be eligible for undergraduate programs (UG), you must get a minimum ATAR of 99.9 (or an equivalent score).
  • To be eligible for undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) programs, you must achieve a minimum GPA of 6.9 on a 7.0 scale (or an equal number).

Regarding University of Adelaide students:

To be eligible for an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) program, you must have a minimum GPA of 6.8 on a 7.0 scale (or an equivalent score from another Australian university).

Kindly be aware that achieving the minimum mark will render you eligible for scholarship consideration. Subsequently, a selection committee will evaluate your application to determine its appropriateness for receiving the award.

Procedure for Applying:

There is no distinct application for this scholarship. Here is the essential information you need to be aware of:

  • Eligibility is automatic: Upon applying for a program at the University of Adelaide, you will be automatically evaluated for this scholarship based on your academic excellence.
  • Academic excellence is a significant factor: Your grades in the program you are applying for will be utilized to evaluate your academic performance.
  • Fulfill entrance prerequisites: Before becoming eligible for the scholarship, it is imperative to ensure that you satisfy all the requirements for your desired degree at the University of Adelaide.

Application deadlines are in effect:

  • The University of Adelaide has a rolling admissions system, which means that there are specific deadlines for each intake period.
  • The application deadline for Trimester 1 & Semester 1 (March–June start) is November 30th, 2023, and applications are no longer being accepted.
  • The commencement date for Trimester 2, which begins in July, is February 28th, 2024.
  • The start date for Semester 2, which begins in August, is April 30th, 2024.
  • The start date for Trimester 3 is September 1st, 2024.
