Meridian Seeds Calls For Job Applications
Meridian Seeds is looking for a Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities
- Market Research: We will do market research to find out what our customers, competitors, and supply chain want and how they act so that we can make better sales and marketing plans.
- Strategy, Planning, and Budgeting: Should work with managers to make budgets and keep an eye on spending.
- Activation of Marketing Channels: Using different tools, we will turn on and grow a network of seed distribution channels
- Coordination of sales Sales Promotion: Lead the implementation of different sales promotion activities, such as farmer/dealer meetings, demo setup, fairs, radio announcements, etc.
- Product Delivery: Will coordinate sales and delivery of Meridian Seeds’ products to customers.
- Payment: Keep accurate records of all sales and make sure that debts are paid on time.
- After Sales Support: Coordinate support for customers after a sale has been made, follow up on customer complaints, and make sure the redress procedure is followed correctly.
- Management of Sales Performance
- Shall be in charge of everything that goes on in Sales Centres (Zones and Shops) and oversee the day-to-day work of SALE AGRONOMISTS.
- Should look at the performance of channels, products, and competitors on a regular basis.
- Should evaluate the performance of the team, sales channels, and channels, and report to management so that they can make strategic decisions.
Skills or Experience Needed
- Education: At least BSc or HND in marketing
- Experience: You need to have worked in marketing for at least three to five years.
- Candidates should be able to talk to people and make connections well.
- The candidate should be good with computers and IT.
- The candidate should be willing to work with farmers and other informal actors.
- The candidate should be able to work on their own with little help.
- The candidate should be willing to travel all over the country a lot.
