Study In USA: Purdue University Freshman Scholarships 2024

Applications are open for interested students to apply for the 2024 Purdue University Scholarships. Applicants are encouraged to read thoroughly and follow the instructions below for a successful application.

About Purdue University Scholarships

Freshman scholarships at Purdue University are given out based on both financial need and academic merit. Students must adhere to admissions and financial assistance deadlines to receive full consideration.

Concerning Purdue University

Located in West Lafayette, Indiana, Purdue University is a public land-grant research institution. John Purdue, a businessman from Lafayette, donated money and property to establish a scientific, technological, and agricultural institution named after him. On September 16, 1874, Purdue University, which was founded in 1869, welcomed 39 students and six faculty members for its inaugural session. It is well-known for its engineering program and is among the top public universities in the country according to major institutional rankings.

Purdue University-West Lafayette offers a wide range of student services, such as daycare, non-remedial tutoring, health insurance, health services, a women’s center, and placement assistance. Along with round-the-clock foot and vehicle patrols (key, security card, etc.), Purdue University-West Lafayette also offers 24-hour emergency telephones, lighting walkways and paths, student patrols, and restricted dormitory access. There is a tight alcohol policy on campus.

Compared to the $27,394 national average for out-of-state tuition, the cost of education for out-of-state students is higher. The expenditures for maintaining the campus health centers, student centers, student gyms, and libraries may vary depending on the university.
