POSITION: Research & Innovation Senior Manager
Fan Milk PLC is searching for an agile and strategic team member to work as an R&I Senior Manager. The R&I Senior Manager will be in charge of innovation, renovation, and productivity initiatives, from selection to factory implementation and post-launch follow-up, assuring product superiority on the shelf. In this position, you will report directly to the Head of Research and Innovation West Africa.
The post is permanent and headquartered in Accra, Ghana.
About You
- Master’s degree in food science and technology, nutrition, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in a comparable profession.
- 5+ years of team management experience with a great track record.
- Strong technical background (dairy components, plant-based ingredients, fermentation, processing, long shelf life), sophisticated industrial trial experience.
- Master the use of sensory and consumer testing to qualify innovative/renovation items for launch.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills, with a focus on detail and the ability to manage numerous projects at once.
- Experience with food safety, HACCP, and quality rules and programs is necessary.
