Bidvest Microfinance Calls For Job Applications

POSITION: Loan Officer

Company Profile

The company headquarters is in Tesano Accra, and Bidvest Microfinance Ltd. was created by experts with different expertise on March 7, 2013, under the Company’s Code, 1963, Act 179, to do microfinance operations.

The promoters have consulted for several micro and small Ghanaian businesses and found that compounding liabilities caused by newness and small size, as well as information asymmetries and agency costs, make it difficult for these organizations to compete with large, well-established businesses for commercial bank attention and funding. Bidvest will bridge the financial gap for them, allowing them to raise enough working cash to sell their new products or implement their unique ideas.

This trend inspired Bidvest’s owners to switch from consultancy to microfinance to give full-fledged financial solutions to Ghana’s small and micro companies. Bidvest thinks that financing microentrepreneurs and small enterprises will reduce poverty, create jobs, and boost economic growth.
