Job Title: Head of Bid Management
Oxfam is a group of people all over the world who work together to end poverty.
Do you have experience with complex and high-value grants and/or commercial tenders and a good understanding of the rules and regulations of public sector procurement, with a focus on FCDO, Institutional Financial Institutions (World Bank, Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank), and other Nordic donors?
Do you love managing the performance of other people and helping them learn, grow, and reach their full potential?
Have you shown that you can handle finances and business negotiations?
We are looking for a Head of Bid Management at a very important time for the organization when it is going through big changes and transitions.
What you’re going to do:
In this role, you will give a team of professional bidders strategic direction and leadership that is in line with Oxfam’s feminist principles and values. You will come up with plans and ways of working that will make it easier to get good funding.
You’ll have:

The best person for the job will also be or have:
- Experience managing the performance of others and helping people develop, grow, and reach their full potentials, such as by increasing diversity and inclusion in teams and/or workplaces and making positive changes in work culture, processes, and practices.
- Experience leading bids for complex, high-value grants and/or commercial contracts, as well as a good understanding of the rules and regulations of public sector procurement
- Shown that they are good at business and financial negotiations.
- Showed the ability, tact, and sensitivity to work well and productively across institutional boundaries, business units, and teams (some of which work remotely).
- Lived experience(s) or proof of learning about anti-racism and inequality and taking action on it
