Water and Sanitation for The Urban Poor (WSUP) is a not-for-profit company that helps transform cities to benefit the millions who lack access to water and sanitation. They were created in 2005 as a response to the urban explosion that has left many cities unable to provide basic services, such as access to a toilet or drinking water, to low-income communities.
WSUP work alongside local providers, enabling them to develop services, build infrastructure and attract funding so that they can reach low-income communities.
Currently, the organization works in seven countries in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia and is supported by an office in the UK. Since our inception, they have helped over 30 million people access improved water, sanitation, and hygiene services.

Print and Production of IEC materials
STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY AND INSTITUTIONAL RESILIENCE TO COVID-19 PROJECT IN GHANA
About the project
WSUP has received funding from Unilever-FCDO HBCC (Hygiene Behaviour Change Coalition) to help provide essential key messages and services to the urban poor communities. The purpose of this project is to support the anti-Covid-19 campaign in Accra, Kumasi, Tamale, and Takoradi – to strengthen the resilience of urban residents in these cities to Covid-19 infection.
The project has been running since May 2022 and will continue until March 2023. This printing engagement may continue for the remaining duration of the project.
Items and services required
WSUP invites electronic (soft copy) quotations for the supply and delivery of an assortment of Printed Materials as described in Annex I. This annex serves as the template to supply the quotation.
Established suppliers are hereby invited to quote for the supply and delivery of printed items by submitting all relevant quotations and supporting documentation detailed in the Eligibility Criteria below.
Eligibility Criteria
Interested Suppliers must provide the following:
- First of all the completed quotation form, the template in Annex I
- Secondly, a copy of the certificate of incorporation
- Thirdly, a copy of the GRA tax pin and a valid tax compliance certificate.
- Also, physical address and contact details (including any sub-offices)
- Additionally, an executive summary of previous consignments successfully delivered
- Lastly, contact details of at least 2 previous clients
HOW TO APPLY?
Process and payment
The successful bidder is expected to receive instruction for printing certain materials and deliver them in bulk to any/one of the abovementioned cities, at specific locations requested by WSUP, within an agreed timeframe. The instruction will be via task order. All designs to be printed will be provided to the successful bidder by WSUP, with a specification of the paper/color, etc quality.
Payment will be within an agreed timeframe following an invoice, and all invoices will be validated against the agreed price list. The price list will be agreed against the quote provided in Annex I
Submission of documents and selection of bidder
Only successful suppliers will be contacted. Please note this quotation is not an order. WSUP reserves the right to accept or reject the quotation.

CLOSING DATE OF APPLICATION
on or before 15th September 2022 at 1700 hrs. Suppliers are required to deliver the requested samples for each item quoted on 15th September 2022 between 1000hrs and 1700hrs at the following address:
