1. Deputy Commissioner-General (Programmer and Partnerships)

Responsibilities

• Assures that the GRA’s mission of promoting compliance with Guyana’s tax, trade, and border laws and regulations through education, quality service, and responsible enforcement is carried out.
• Assists in capacity building and the creation of a modern and effective tax administration that ensures the collection of all taxes and duties owed to the Government of Guyana.
• Ensures the efficient management of operational areas and internal controls as defined by the Commissioner-General and the Governing Board.

2. Assistant Secretary General

Responsibilities

• Develops the Office’s program plan and budget proposals;
• Identifies broad strategies needed for the development and implementation of the Office’s program work, ensuring the delivery of client-focused solutions; and
• Carries out management activities and makes managerial decisions to ensure the program’s effective, efficient, and economic operation.
