Role Title: Manufacturing Manager
Job Description
Voltic (GH) Limited/Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, in Ghana, is looking for a Manufacturing Manager. Voltic (GH) Limited has been known for making Ghana’s best-selling premium water brand for over twenty years. It has now added value-added dairy products to its list of products. The person in this job will be in charge of directing, leading, and helping the team so that production, quality, and maintenance goals are met in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible.
Moreover, The person in this job will be in charge of managing all aspects of manufacturing, such as Engineering, Utilities, Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ). The person in this role is in charge of running these functions and giving direction to the Functional Heads in Manufacturing.
Important Duties and Tasks
- Make business and implementation plans for the company to make sure that its goals for customer service and productivity are met.
- Make sure the goals for customer service are met.
- Manage the parts of operational execution that have to do with manufacturing, such as the flow of materials, output, and all supporting operations.
- Management and upkeep of the manufacturing tools to keep them in a productive state
- Take charge of putting the Supply Chain Way into action and running it.
- Find and create the right tools to help the Plant Business Plan and budget come to life, such as
- Process, Systems, and Technology capabilities within the frameworks and rules set by Central Office Support teams.
- So that business growth goals can be met, it’s important that people have the right skills.
- Then, Control how the CAPEX process is done in the business.
- Manage the plant’s main interactions with local labor unions and everything to do with industrial relations.
- Also, Make sure that the CCBA’s employees are involved, productive, and skilled, and that they are all working toward the same strategic and operational business goals.
- Lead and manage the development of a culture of health and safety for all plant workers.
- In the plant, you will be in charge of the Risk Management and Business Governance processes.
Skills, work experience, and education requirements:
- Background in education: A relevant Bachelor’s or University degree is a must.
- MBA is better
Experience:
- About 10 years’ worth of related business experience
- At least three years in a top or executive position
- Strong history of getting things done in a Manufacturing job.
- A good grasp of the Supply Chain Way
- Knowledge of business and management concepts involved in strategic planning, allocating resources, modeling human resources, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordinating people and resources.
- Proven ability to get employees to work hard.
