Job Title: FIXED COSTS & PROCESS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER

The Finance Business team plays a key role as a strategic business partner and co-leads the business. They do this by using digital tools and giving people the power to make a change and helping them grow.
The Fixed Prices and Process Improvement Manager’s job is to keep track of the prices of the Sales Force and Head Office Overheads for all West African countries, working closely with the heads of the different departments. You will also be in charge of the Business Intelligence and Process Improvement plan. This means that you will use data to help the business get the right information about how the business is doing.
Main responsibilities: (“WHAT” of the role)
As the manager of Fixed Costs and Process Improvement, you will
- lead the process of budgeting and forecasting fixed costs, predicting deviations, and making action plans with the Heads of the Department.
- Provide accurate and timely financial analysis covering month-end and monthly overheads reporting (including variances analysis vs. last year and vs. forecast) and prepare ad hoc report analysis.
- Create new digital and automated tools to track how well a business is doing.
- analyze our processes, find the weak spots, and work with process owners to make an action plan. Lead or help with improvement projects with the Finance team and other areas.
- prepare and keep local Business Intelligence tools up-to-date on things within his reach.
- people who don’t work in finance should be taught about money.
ABOUT YOU
- Background in finance (at least 3 years of work)
- Autonomy, motivation, and being a boss
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills, as well as the courage to question others.
- Analyse skills and an eye for detail. Comfortable with tools and managing data.
- Good judgment and the ability to make choices based on data and information received
- Excellent time control and planning skills
