For the academic year 2022-2023, the ISS Scholarship Fund for Excellent Students is accessible to foreign students from all around the world who are interested in pursuing master’s studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
The ISS Scholarship Fund for Outstanding Students pays for 40% of the tuition.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for the ISS Scholarship Fund for Excellent Students:
- English is a required language.
- All countries around the globe are eligible.
- You are interested in enrolling in ISS’s Master of Arts in Development Studies program;
- You’ve received an acceptance letter from ISS;
- You have relevant job experience, a bachelor’s degree in one of the social sciences (upper second or first class), and a strong desire to study at ISS, or you are a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in one of the social sciences (first class) and a strong desire to study at ISS.
Documents Require
- A one-page Motivation Statement — Describe why you should be the recipient of this cash.
- Detailed financial evidence (including accompanying bank statements) to demonstrate your capacity to pay for the remainder of your tuition, living expenses, and health insurance.
