Study In Germany: DAAD-Bridge Scholarships 2024

The DAAD-Bridge Scholarships for the academic year 2024/2025 in Germany are currently available to International Students from Iran. These scholarships cover all expenses for the selected students. The scholarship provides funding for PhD and research-level programs in all subjects taught at universities in Germany. The scholarship’s deadline is September 29, 2024.

Objective

The “Bridge Scholarships Iran” provides Iranians who have relocated to Germany due to the prevailing political circumstances with an opportunity to establish or further their academic pursuits. The objective of the scheme is to provide Iranian researchers with bridging scholarships to initiate or advance their research projects during their PhD or postdoctoral phase at a German state or state-recognized higher education institution or non-university research institution.

These awards aim to provide individuals with the opportunity to start and prepare for their future academic aspirations in a safe atmosphere, with the assistance of their host university. The ultimate objective is to assimilate them into the educational and employment sectors of Germany, in case repatriation to Iran is not feasible.

What projects can be funded?

Research projects are conducted to attain a PhD degree or carry out a research project at a German higher education institution that is either state-run or recognized by the state, or at a non-university research institution.
