POSITION: Regional Business Manager

Our Parts and Services Division (PSD) is looking for a passionate, innovative and strategic thinking individual to join our team as Regional Business Manager – Africa. You will execute the PSD strategy and achieve targets for growth, revenue, profitability and operational efficiency.
In this role, your primary task is to ensure there are business development plans in each Customer Centre and that these plans are executed to fully achieve sales and profitability potential based on local market prerequisites and our full product portfolio. You will also support the customer centers with their sales activities and business forecasting. You will collect business intelligence and grow the business in a profitable way, while adding value to our customers operations.
Your mission will be to support the customer centers in Africa to execute quicker, develop the business and establish an effective parts and services offering in the region. You start with a heavy focus on West Africa, then would expand to the rest of the continent. Your role will be to develop competencies, facilitate alignment, grow market share and establish a fast execution strategy.
In this role, your mission and responsibilities will be to:
- Firstly, Support the Business Line Managers and General Managers of the Customer Centers to compile an action list to ensure that targets for revenue, profitability and customer share are achieved.
- Secondly, Maximize profit levels, with special focus on spare parts, with the Market Analyst team within the Business Development group and Customer Centers.
- Thirdly, Implement a methodology for accurate monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting with the Support Customer Centers
- Moreover, Achieve profitable service contracts and deliver maximum value to the end customer in cooperation with the service agreements team.
- In addition, Spend as much time as possible in the designated region supporting the Customer Centers with sales, training and business development.
- Then, Ensure that our full product portfolio gets a fair chance and support via our Customer Centers.
- Also, Roll out our product portfolio and initiate a follow up campaign to ensure that all opportunities are realized.
- Thereafter, Collect business intelligence, interpret the local market requirements for the business and feed back to our business development group and product management teams.
- Besides thst, Facilitate the Business Review Meetings and activity meetings with the CC`s and Divisional management. Follow up on any ongoing action plans with a focus on cost control.
- Afterwards, Respond to CC requests for both commercial and technical assistance.
- Last but no lest, Provide a monthly report on the regional activities.
- Finally, Work with Supply Chain to ensure maximum availability for our customers and Customer Centers.
Experience and requirements:
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in similar roles and potentially in highly complex matrix organizations.
- Demonstrated business management experience on a strategic level, with significant knowledge of marketing functions
- Proven experience with dealership management.
- University degree in a relevant field (technical or commercial)
- Fluent written and spoken English, French is a strong plus.
