How to Block Someone On Twitter

Blocking is a feature that prevents a person or someone from reaching or having access to your details that would cause ghosting. It is the final frontier of your interactions with someone on Twitter. Blocking a user means they won’t be able to locate your profile or posts.

How to block a Twitter account on a PC

Many people still use the desktop app or web version on their PC. Due to preference, if that is your choice then you will need to follow these steps below;

• Go to the Twitter website and log into your account.
• Click on the search bar in the upper right corner and type the name of the account you want to block.
• Then click on the three dots on the right-hand side, then to the Following button.
• From the drop-down menu select the Block option. For confirmation, you will be asked if you are sure about the request. Click Block again if you are sure.

How to block on iPhone or iPad

• Open the app and tap on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the screen.
• Then, type in the name of the person you want to delete and select them.
• On their profile page, you will see a row to the left of your screen. Click on it to reveal the Follow or Following button. Tap the Settings on the right that look like a gear or flower.
• Now, tap the Block option, then confirm your request.

How to block on Android

• Open the app and tap on the magnifying glass icon.
• Then, type in the name of the account you wish to block. Select their name.
• On their profile page, you will see an icon in the upper right corner in a column. Tap it, then select the Block option.
• Then confirm your decision.
• To unblock someone you blocked you can use these same steps to only choose unblock on the pop-up menu.
