Role Title: Asst. HRBP for SC, Ghana
MAIN GOAL OF THE JOB:
- The Assistant HR Business Partner, Supply Chain’s job is to help the Head of HR, Ghana, and the Head of PX, West Africa, carry out the HR strategy. They will do this by working closely with the Head of HR, Ghana, and the Head of PX, West Africa.
- The person in this job will also be in charge of giving advice on all HR issues and making sure that changes are carried out well.
- The person in this job will be in charge of all PX strategies and plans in the function. This includes working with our People Hub and telling the market about plans.
- The person in this job will use their knowledge of and ability to handle HR Information Systems to give insight and make sure the data is accurate.
- Also, he or she will be in charge of handling the Union on the job site and making sure that the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Management and the Union is followed.
JOB SUMMARY
- The person on the job will be responsible for the following:
- Understanding how the organization works helps with the development and application of HR solutions.
- Helps Unilever’s talent processes by teaching managers how to make choices that are fair and based on facts.
- Owns the entire onboarding process and advises the line manager on how to do it. Checks in with new workers during their first week and month and at regular intervals after that to make sure they are settling in.
- Owns all steps of the offboarding process from beginning to end, working with employees, line managers, paychecks, and the PX hub to make sure the process goes smoothly.
- Coordinates and sends out messages to the factory about HR projects and other information
- Helps managers understand the basics of learning needs and skill gap analyses, and gives them advice on the different learning strategies they can use.
- Helps managers and the HR team with everything to do with organizational effectiveness and analysis.
- Shares ER policies and procedures with everyone in the company and works closely with the HR team to reduce ER/IR risk.
- Gives advice on tools for Reward and Performance Management. Works closely with managers to make sure they understand how performance management tools work together to improve performance and attract, engage, and keep workers.
- Works with the HR service provider to make sure that the business gets basic HR services. Watches over the quality and speed of service delivery, making the employee’s life better.
- Helps all workers understand and follow Unilever’s HR policies and processes, as well as local employment and labor laws.
- In charge of getting the information that management needs for talks with the Union. Will also be a part of the Standing Negotiation Team.
- Have an indirect role in managing the facilities and services offered to workers, such as the cafeteria, bus service, etc.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- College Diploma
- At least 5 years of experience in HR Business Partnering/Operations
- Knowledge of how the Ghana Labor Laws work in the real world
