Job Description.
Ideas Printhouse Ltd is looking for a bright, creative Graphic Designer to join our team. The Graphic Designer will be in charge of developing visual concepts, designs, and layouts for a variety of print and digital assets, including marketing collateral, advertising campaigns, packaging, and branding materials. The ideal candidate will have a solid portfolio that demonstrates their design abilities and inventiveness across multiple mediums.
Responsibilities
- Work with the marketing and sales departments to understand the project’s objectives and requirements.
- Conceptualize and design visuals for print and digital items such as brochures, flyers, posters, banners, social media graphics, websites, and more.
- Create creative concepts and design solutions that are consistent with the company’s brand identity and messaging.
- Use graphic design software and tools (such as Adobe Creative Suite) to generate high-quality designs and layouts.
- Create and edit pictures, illustrations, and other visuals for use in print and digital publications.
- Ensure that all designs are visually appealing, consistent with the brand, and fulfill quality requirements.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure that designs are ready and optimized for printing and digital dissemination.
- Stay current on industry trends, design methodologies, and software changes to improve your design abilities and expertise.
- Manage several projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to convey design concepts, get input, and make necessary modifications.
Required Skill or Experience
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in graphic design, visual communication, or a related subject.
- Proven job experience as a Graphic Designer or in a related function, including a solid portfolio of innovative design projects.
- Proficiency with graphic design software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
- A thorough understanding of design ideas, typography, colour theory, and layout approaches.
- Excellent mental thinking and innovative problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, as well as the ability to operate well in a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines.
- Experience with print manufacturing and digital design best practices is preferred.
- Knowledge with HTML/CSS and web design principles is beneficial.
- The ability to respond to feedback and implement adjustments into design ideas.
