Job Title: Science Instructor
Company Summary
Terrific Scientific Busters is a new business that is growing fast. Our goal is to teach kids ages 4 to 12 about the fun and wonders of science in a way that is both fun and useful.
Job Description
We are looking for people who are responsible, reliable, and well-organized, and also have great performance skills, to join our team of science teachers and teach our science programs to kids in Accra (and maybe even further). We have after-school clubs, science camps, science shows, and science parties as part of our programs. Also, We are looking for energetic, eager people to work with us on a part-time basis as science teachers.
Candidates must be creative, energetic, and interested in making learning fun and interesting for kids. You’ll be in charge of putting on hands-on, educational programs for kids in elementary school.
Skills or Experience Needed
- A strong desire to work with children
- Skills as an actor: being able to connect with kids
- (To get kids’ attention, you need a sense of humor.)
- Confident presentational style
- Good at speaking English and knows some basic science
- Have some experience working with kids between the ages of 4 and 12 (in entertainment, schooling, sports, etc.)
- This job requires perfect grammar and dependability, as well as good time management, which will not be compromised.
- A scientific background is helpful, but not required, as full training will be given.
