The Main Street Scholarship

  • A GPA of 3.75 or higher will result in a scholarship amount of $25,000.
  • The range of 3.50 to 3.74 corresponds to a value of $24,000.
  • The salary range for a GPA between 3.00 and 3.49 is $23,000. For a GPA of 2.99 and less, the salary is $20,000.

Additional scholarship options

  • Comet Community Award: $1,500 allocated for Room & Board expenses. I am currently registered as an undergraduate student and reside in on-campus housing.
  • recipient of the Conservatory Performance Award will receive a sum of $5,000 to be used specifically for tuition expenses.This award is available to full-time Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Arts in Music majors who are selected through an audition process.
  • Scholarship for Music Composition: Receive up to $5,500 to cover tuition expenses. This pertains to the composition portfolio and evaluation process for full-time students majoring in composition at the Conservatory of Music.
  • Sibling Award: $1,000 allocated for tuition expenses. The requirement is that the sibling must be enrolled as a full-time traditional undergraduate student at Capital University.
  • The Lutheran Heritage Grant offers a financial assistance of $1,000 specifically designated for tuition expenses. A minimum GPA of 2.0, being the offspring of a Lutheran pastor, or self-identifying as a member of a Lutheran Congregational Church.
  • Partners in Education: Receive a matching contribution of up to $500 towards tuition expenses. Your congregation has its own specific standards and monetary value for the prize. Capital University provides a matching program where they will double any funds up to $500 that are provided by Lutheran congregations.

The Aya Ueki International Student Scholarship

For existing students: Aya Ueki’s parents established this scholarship in memory of and tribute to their daughter, who was a former student at Capital University and Hokuriku Gakuin University and had a strong passion for global learning. International students who have successfully completed a minimum of one semester at Capital University, have maintained a satisfactory academic record, and have actively participated in campus activities are strongly encouraged to submit an application.

The scholarship is applicable to all academic programs offered by the institution, including ESL, undergraduate, graduate studies, and the adult degree program. It can be utilized to assist in covering tuition expenses for the upcoming fall and spring semesters, but it cannot be applied towards summer tuition or to settle outstanding university obligations.
