Requirements for eligibility:

  • The scholarship is available to new students at the University of Strathclyde who are classed as international students for fee purposes.
  • To be eligible, you must get admission to a full-time, instructed Master’s degree program in Physics offered by the Department of Physics for the academic year 2024/2025.
  • Application Deadline: To be considered, you must have received an offer of admission no later than July 31st, 2024.
  • Self-Funded Students: This award is intended for students who are personally financing their studies. Students who receive complete financial support from external sources such as government agencies or embassies are not eligible.

Eligibility Requirements: To get and retain the scholarship, you must consistently fulfill all the conditions for eligibility mentioned above.

The scholarship can only be used for enrollment in the academic year 2024/2025 and cannot be deferred. If you decide to postpone your entry to the next year, the scholarship offer will be revoked.

Procedure for Applying:

  • Automatic Consideration: New international students admitted to a full-time Physics Master’s program for the 2024/2025 academic year by July 31st, 2024, who satisfy all eligibility standards, will be considered for the scholarship without needing to apply separately. No additional application is required.
  • Notification of Award: Recipients of the scholarship will receive information commencing on January 17th, 2024.
  • The University of Strathclyde has a policy that restricts individuals to receiving only one scholarship every academic year.
  • Scholarship Decisions: The allocation of scholarships is ultimately determined by the Faculty of Science. Their verdicts are conclusive, and there is no recourse for appeals.
