2024 International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship

We are pleased to announce that we will be providing 125 International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarships in 2024.

The scholarship is a competitive award of £5,000 towards the initial tuition fee for a postgraduate taught program beginning in September 2024. The scholarships are open to all new international students who fulfill the eligibility requirements.

You need to have received an offer of admission to the University of Sheffield.

Scholarship applications must be submitted by 1:00 pm (UK time) on Monday, May 13, 2024.

The scholarship results will be published on Monday, June 10, 2024.

If you are awarded the scholarship, you will be required to confirm your acceptance of the scholarship and your offer by a specific deadline.

Eligibility requirements

• Your program must start at the University of Sheffield in the fall of 2024.
• Distance learning courses do not qualify for a merit scholarship.
• You need to be offered admission to a complete course at the University of Sheffield. Masters programs that are divided between the University of Sheffield and another institution are ineligible for scholarship applications.
• Merit scholarships are not available for Crossways courses or Erasmus Mundus courses.
• To be eligible for tuition fee reasons, you must be self-funded and obligated to pay the abroad tuition fee.
