Study In UK: Nottingham Trent University Scholarship 2024

We provide esteemed, competitive scholarships to new students from Europe and beyond, valued at up to 50%. To qualify for a scholarship, you must have an offer to enroll in a full-time postgraduate degree at NTU (including Confetti courses) starting in September 2024. This website has all the information, including application tips.

Categories Of Scholarships

Scholarships for NTU Excellence

With our NTU and Confetti Excellence Scholarships, your tuition costs will drop by 50% or 25%. These are given to graduate and undergraduate students who have proven they have high academic standing and the ability to make a positive impact on the campus community.

International Scholarships

Students who demonstrate a great commitment to their studies are competitively awarded our International Scholarships, which have a maximum value of £3,000.

Subject and Regional Scholarships

Our subject and regional grants cover anything from 50% of your tuition to £4,000.

Scholarships for NTU Excellence and Confetti Excellence

25% and 50% of the tuition, not including years spent in placement. A further £3000 will be awarded to undergraduate students for each year of their program.

Postgraduate Scholarships by Subject and Region:

50% of tuition is awarded as an LLM scholarship in Vietnam, India, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Postgraduate Scholarships: £4,000 available for Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Myanmar, Pakistan, Serbia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines, and Latin America and the Caribbean

A £5,000 postgraduate scholarship is available for Vietnam

Scholarship for STEM in Taiwan: 50% of tuition

50% of tuition fees for women studying computer science

Undergraduate Scholarships by Subject and Region:

Scholarship for Sri Lanka: £4,000 each year of study, not including years spent on placement.

The Taiwan STEM Scholarship covers 50% of the first year’s tuition.

Scholarship for USA Excellence: Up to 50% of tuition + £3,000 for each additional year of study, not including placement years.

Taiwanese undergraduate scholarships: £4,000 for the first academic year.

Sibling Allegiance Bonus

20% off the cost of tuition.

Qualifications

To qualify for an award of the NTU International Scholarship, you have to:

• possess an offer of enrollment in a Nottingham Trent University course that meets the requirements, including Confetti courses.
• be considered an “international student” to pay tuition fees. For information about scholarships available to UK students, please visit ntu.ac.uk/scholarships.
• be scheduled to enroll in January 2024 or September 2024 for the first year of a new course of study (or, in the case of advanced entrance, years 2 or 3 of an undergraduate course). International students who entered before January 2023 and who will repeat their first year of study or move on to the second, third, or fourth year of their course of study in January 2024 or September 2024 are not eligible to apply.

Conditions and Terms for Foreign Scholarships

• Students enrolled in the progression program at Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC) are not eligible to apply for an NTU International Scholarship.
• International students are not eligible to apply for an international scholarship if they are sponsored, meaning that their tuition is fully or partially covered by an employer, government, or funding agency.
• Studying at a school where NTU has a partnership agreement makes you eligible for the Partner Progression Discount, which deducts the larger amount from your tuition costs, or an award from the NTU International Scholarship if your application is accepted.
• If you get a scholarship from an outside organization, you are only eligible for an NTU International Scholarship, provided the total of both prizes does not exceed 50% of your first year’s tuition. To ensure that receiving an award from NTU won’t affect your external award, please review the terms and conditions of the external award.
• Each academic year, applicants are only permitted to apply for an NTU International Scholarship grant if they have been offered a spot in a qualifying degree.
• Applications submitted after 4 p.m. GMT on any given deadline will be automatically considered for the following one.
• Applications that are submitted after the last day will not be taken into account.
• Awards under the NTU Scholarship are non-transferable and will not be given back if you decide to postpone enrollment until the next academic year or transfer to a different NTU course of study.
• When you accept your scholarship offer, accept and fulfill the requirements of your course offer, and are qualified to enroll in your course, the scholarship will be allocated to your tuition.

How to Apply?

We are currently accepting applications for our September 2024 scholarship program. After submitting the online application form below, we’ll evaluate your eligibility for all available scholarships.

Before applying for a scholarship, you must have an offer to enroll full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program at NTU, including Confetti courses. The following lists all of the deadlines for September 2024:

• At 16:00 GMT on Wednesday, February 28, 2024
• Wed., April 10, 2024, 16:00 GMT
• At 16:00 GMT on Wednesday, May 1, 2024
• Wed., June 26, 2024, 16:00 GMT

We do not accept applications for our overseas scholarship program from current NTU students.
