What is the procedure for applying to the GSK Scholarships UK for the academic year 2025-26?

  • Submit an application for admission to a London-based MSc program at LSHTM for the 2025-26 academic year, adhering to the guidelines provided on the program page. Remit the GBP 50 entry charge.
  • Upon submitting your program application, you will receive an email including a link to the online scholarship site.
  • Submit Scholarship Application: Navigate to the scholarship portal, locate “GSK Scholarships for Future Health Leaders,” answer the requisite questions, and submit your application.
  • Ensure Fulfillment: The applications for both the MSc program and the scholarship must be finalized by the scholarship deadline.

Crucial Details:

These scholarships are available to applicants for any of the non-distance learning intense Master’s programs provided by LSHTM, excluding the collaborative programs: MSc Global Mental Health, MSc Health Policy, Planning & Financing, MSc One Health, and MSc Veterinary Epidemiology.

Applicants are encouraged to finalize Step 1 promptly to facilitate the processing of their GBP 50.00 LSHTM admissions application fee payment. Applicants will be unable to apply for studies until the payment is finalized.

We advise applicants for this grant to finalize and submit their study application at least 2-3 days before to the scholarship deadline to prevent any delays in Admissions or payment processing that may affect the scholarship deadline.

Applications that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline will be disregarded for this funding. Incomplete applications consist of those lacking requisite documentation at either Step 1 or Step 2 mentioned above.

Both the study application and the scholarship application must be submitted by the scholarship deadline specified in the scholarship advertisement. Applicants must ensure that all requisite supplemental documents are submitted through LSHTM’s Admissions Portal by the scholarship deadline.

Successful applicants will be required to remit a deposit within 28 days of receiving the admission offer. Applicants seeking scholarships at LSHTM must email the Admissions Team to inform them that they are awaiting the scholarship outcome, including the scholarship name and the anticipated decision date in the correspondence. This procedure must be reiterated for each application submitted by the applicant. The Admissions staff will thereafter extend the deposit deadline to coincide with the scholarship funding decision deadline.
