  • Recipients are responsible for any additional expenses that exceed the fellowship amount.

  • Application form submitted.
  • Research proposal (3 pages adhering to a conventional research structure).
  • Curriculum vitae (CV) with a comprehensive list of published works.
  • A photocopy of the passport.
  • Two letters of recommendation are required, or one recommendation letter and one letter of consent from the head administrator of your institute.

  • Consent from a secure research institution is required for fellows to proceed with their research project in Taiwan. Once selected, fellows must reach out to universities or research organizations in Taiwan to get a formal letter of consent.
  • Grant Authorization: Upon receipt of the letter of consent, candidates will be issued a “Grant Authorization Letter” by the Taiwan Fellowship team, formally acknowledging them as recipients of the fellowship.
