Field Rotation:

All young professionals are required to complete a rotation at an IsDB regional hub or office to strengthen their relationships with beneficiaries.

Objectives:

Youth participants are required to go to member countries for missions, engaging in various tasks that result in significant learning and personal development.

Training:

A thorough 2-year training program includes instruction on both technical skills and behavioral competencies. Some of these trainings are endorsed by leading Professional institutions.

Young professionals are allocated career advisors to help them navigate their careers at IsDB. Furthermore, every young professional group takes part in a coaching program to enhance their growth.

After finishing the program, young professionals go to the IsDB High Potential Talent Pool, which provides opportunities for further career advancement and development within the bank beyond the Young Professionals Program. Eligibility Requirements:

a) Minimum Criteria:

Applicants for the IsDB Young Professional Program (YPP) must fulfill the following minimal requirements:

Academic Background:

Must possess at least a Master’s degree in a related field from a prestigious university. Applicants for the YPP Program must have completed their Master’s degree before the program’s start date to be eligible. A master’s degree must be completed within 4 years before the application deadline.

Nationality:

Be a citizen of a country that is a member of the IsDB. Up to 25% of chosen applicants from each group can be from Muslim communities in non-member countries.

Subject:

Showcase exceptional verbal and written communication abilities in English. Fluency in either Arabic or French will be seen positively by the bank.

Age:

32 years old or younger at the time of the application deadline.

Geographical position and transportation:

Must be prepared to live in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and travel for country assignments as needed for business purposes, including rotations to an IsDB Regional Hub.

Devotion:

Demonstrate a strong dedication and enthusiasm for IsDB’s purpose and its development approach.

b) Further Factors to Consider:

Priority will be given to potential candidates who meet the minimal criteria and possess the following:

Achieving distinction or merit in their master’s program. Master’s degree candidates must provide transcripts showing exceptional academic performance.

IsDB Scholarship recipients.

  • Proficient in three languages, with a strong knowledge of Arabic and/or French.
  • Having a professional certification or a Ph.D. from a renowned university in a relevant discipline.
  • Significant professional expertise in any of the IsDB’s primary industries.

The YPP seeks to attract and develop graduates from diverse fields of study. Applications from all academic backgrounds are accepted, although graduates in the following fields will be given priority throughout the selection process:
