  • A minimum high school grade point average of 80%.
  • Applicants are required to satisfy the minimal admissions criteria for the program they intend to enroll in.
  • Applicants are required to provide their 11th-grade final transcript, which must have a minimum average of 80%.
  • The applicant is required to provide the official transcript for the first semester of their 12th grade, which should have a minimum average of 80%.
  • The applicant is required to submit at least two letters of recommendation from reputable organizations that are related to their field of expertise.
  • Applicants are required to submit a portfolio letter that showcases their talent and demonstrates their recent accomplishments in a specific area of expertise. The eligible areas include scientific research (covering all literary and scientific fields), technology and innovation, literature, male acting, media, and athleticism.
  • The applicant must complete a personal interview with the committee.
  • The applicant is ineligible to receive both this award and another scholarship at the same time, except for international students who may be eligible under specific terms and conditions.
  • Prior recipients of this award are ineligible to reapply for funding to pursue an additional academic degree.
  • The scholarship must be used in the semester immediately following its award. International students may have the option to delay the commencement of their studies by one semester, if needed, subject to approval by the scholarship committee. If the student fails to meet the requirements of the first semester, the scholarship will be revoked, and the student will receive notification via their QU email.

Necessary documents:

  • The applicant is required to submit at least two letters of recommendation from reputable organizations that are related to their field of expertise.
  • The applicant is required to submit a portfolio letter containing a link to a video of a large-size file that supports their talent and demonstrates recent achievements in one of the following areas: scientific research (including all literary and scientific fields), technology and innovation, literature, male acting, media, or athleticism. The file should be hosted on platforms such as Dropbox or OneDrive. To demonstrate athletic prowess, the film must exhibit the candidate actively participating in a team setting during a competitive competition.
  • Upon completing the personal interview, applicants in the field of sports talent must provide a signed history and medical information form, as well as a physical examination form completed by a healthcare professional (such as a family doctor or general practitioner). Additionally, they must pass a physical fitness examination at Qatar University.
